When we started the Upstate House journey we began with our own green design planning.  After researching available technologies and opportunities from which to borrow, we found that EarthCraft House – one of the nation’s most successful and proven voluntary green building standards -- offered everything we were looking for … a standard that offered significant flexibility to meet local conditions and builder/owner desires while at the same time offering significant environmental gains based in sound economics and proven techniques.
